Second Skin

The composite image of Second Skin was created by photographing artificial animal fur in numerous arrangements with a large format camera. These images were subsequently scanned and digitally "hand woven" to create a seamless surface, without the use of photo stitching software. The intent was to form a non-repeating pattern, producing a continuously novel perceptual experience.
