A Pop-Up Conversation with Assemble
An impromptu "pop up" discussion with Assemble members Fran Edgerley and Paloma Strelitz was organized in 48-hours. The flash conversation took place at Bright Lyons Art Space in Brooklyn, New York. Moderated by Esther Choi, over fifty people participated in the intimate two-hour group discussion, which covered a broad range of topics: social activism, the struggle of adhering to a DIY ethos, generational lethargy, the challenges of organizing a young practice, and what alternative models of institutional critique might look like in the 21st century.
